FAMILIAR MARKS · A LARGER GAME
Win the small boards. Make three Xs or Os in a row, column or diagonal to claim a small board. Claimed boards close and reveal your landscape.
Your square sends your opponent. Play in the upper-right square of any board, and your opponent must play in the upper-right board next. Sent to a won or full board? Choose any open board.
Win the larger board. Claim three small boards in a row, column or diagonal. A drawn small board belongs to neither player. If every board closes without a winning line, the match is a draw.
X opens the first round. Players swap marks on rematches. On a phone, choose a board in the overview, select a square in the enlarged board, then confirm. On desktop, use the mouse, or arrow keys and Enter; Tab switches boards.
