The road · how far you have been
On the table
Gone to fetch Nan from St Audrey's. If I am not back by dark, do not wait. Go to the farm at Harrow End. Follow the railway. Take my coat.
The one keepsake to carry
What stays here
How it goes
WASD walks. Shift runs. The torch follows the pointer. On a phone, drag to walk. M turns the sound off.
Find what the road needs, then take the way on when you are ready. Walk over loose things. Stand still beside a closed thing to open it. It is heard.
Scrap gives you a breath to make something from what you carry. Cells keep the torch strong. Dressings mend you on the road, or in a held breath under a lamp: E.
Tonight is saved on the road. Put it down inside a stop and you return to the road before it.
