How a deal goes
Everyone starts with five cards. On your turn you draw two (five if your hand was empty), then play up to three cards. First to hold three complete sets of different colours wins.
- Bank: money, or any action or rent card played face up as money. You pay debts from here.
- Property: lay it in front of you by colour. Each card lists how many make a set and the rent at each size. Wild cards stand in for either of their colours and can be moved on your turn.
- Rent: charge every other player rent on one colour you hold. The any-colour Rent charges one player. Double the Rent rides along and uses another play.
- Sly Deal, Forced Deal, Deal Breaker: take a property, swap a property, or take a whole complete set. Only Deal Breaker can touch a complete set.
- Debt Collector, It’s My Birthday: 5M from one player, or 2M from everyone.
- House, Hotel: add 3M and 4M rent to a complete set. Pass Go: draw two.
- Just Say No: cancel anything played against you, at any time, for free. It can be refused with another one.

You pay from your bank and your table, never from your hand, and nobody gives change. If you cannot cover it, you hand over everything. Property paid over stays property. End your turn with at most seven cards.
The action cards

This edition
- Two to five players share the one 106-card deck.
- Cards over the hand limit go to the discard pile, which is reshuffled when the deck runs out.
- A wild property that changes hands is placed by its new owner, who chooses its colour as it arrives.
- You win on your own turn. Three sets completed for you during someone else’s turn win when your turn begins, if you still hold them.
- A House or Hotel given as payment goes to the receiver’s bank.
- Cards of a colour past a full set start a second set of that colour. Rent is charged on the better one, and only different colours count toward the three you need.
- A player who drops out of the room is waited for briefly before the table answers for them.
- A pile made only of any-colour wilds collects no rent and is not a set.
A fan edition of Monopoly Deal (Hasbro). Turns last two minutes; answers and payments forty seconds, after which the table moves on for you.
